Refund & Cancellation Policy

Membership, program, directory, service, and cancellation terms.

1. General Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how the Black Business Coalition handles payments, memberships, services, directory listings, programs, events, and related purchases. Specific offers may include additional terms disclosed at checkout or in a separate agreement.

2. Membership Fees

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, membership fees are non-refundable. Membership access, resources, training, opportunities, and related benefits begin when enrollment is processed or access is granted.

3. Recurring Billing

If a membership or service includes recurring billing, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method on file until the membership or service is canceled according to the applicable cancellation process.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel future recurring charges by following the cancellation instructions provided at signup, through your account if available, or by contacting the Black Business Coalition before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically create a refund for past charges.

5. Directory and Service Fees

Business directory listing fees, setup fees, promotional fees, processing-related fees, consulting fees, completed services, and custom work are generally non-refundable once work has begun, a listing has been created, services have been delivered, or resources have been made available.

6. Events

Event registration fees may be non-refundable unless the event terms state otherwise. If an event is canceled by the Black Business Coalition, we may provide a refund, credit, rescheduled access, or other remedy at our discretion.

7. Chargebacks

Users agree to contact us first to resolve billing concerns before initiating chargebacks. Improper chargebacks may result in suspension of membership, access, listings, or services.
